FAQ

What is the cost to participate in The Alliance?
The Alliance does NOT charge a service/administration fee for participation. There are no minimum monthly purchase requirements. You are free to order according to your optical needs. There are no hidden fees.

Can I pay my account electronically?
YES. We can withdraw funds from your checking or savings account monthly through an ACH transaction. Plus, our members now have access to on-line statements and payments.

If I decide to apply to The Alliance, will transferring my accounts be a lengthy process?
NO. We know your time is valuable and should be spent with your patients. Upon becoming an Alliance member, you will have the opportunity to choose the accounts for which you wish to transfer billing. Whether you choose 2 or 20 vendors, The Alliance will assume the responsibility of transferring your accounts and will then supply you with a list of your accounts and account numbers for easy ordering.

Will this affect or delay the ordering process in my optical?
NO. You will still order and receive product from your vendor or rep using your Alliance account numbers. Many of your major vendor account numbers will remain the same.

How will I know I’m receiving the full discount?
You will receive one consolidated monthly statement from The Alliance listing your purchases by vendor. Each invoice number and the discount you receive are clearly stated. Plus our staff at The Alliance is available to answer any question you may have regarding your statement or monthly purchases. As an added bonus, all payments are due at The Alliance on the 25th of each month. This gives you extra time to pay as compared to other buying groups.

How can I really determine if The Alliance is going to save me money on my optical products versus my current buying group?
The Alliance can complete a no obligation discount comparison and contact lens analysis from your current buying group statement. Many groups charge administration fees on monthly purchases not passing the full discount that they advertise. In most cases, when the product is returned you are not credited back the administration fee, which results in a NET LOSS on the product.
